In spite of the tax breaks given for R&D there is much evidence that shows that companies are only D'ing - there is in fact very little "R" going on.

While it is important to keep your design teams creative, when images such as these appear from Samsung with no context it just looks appalingly wierd.  A PC/Standard Lamp combination doesn't even look all that invinting to play with or explore.  But maybe I'm just getting old.
